2000 honda civic-oil change???

Hey everyone car question again.... Is it best to have a mechanic do the oil change, or can my husband do it, he's not a mechanic but he does change the oil in his 95 saturn, is my honda that much of a difference ? thanks for your help, oh yeah and also change the oil filter how hard is it to do all that?2000 honda civic-oil change???A mechanic or your husband. Pretty much the same thing! As long you know how to get the oil out it's fine. The oil filter sometime you can get it off with your hands. There's a tool to get it off but it's useless (for me anyway)! If it doesn't come off take screwdriver and a hammer and crack the plastic on the oil filter and you'll get inside and it's easy to take off.
