About 3,000 miles (or about 5,000 KM) - or at least every 3 to 6 months.
A lot of it has to do with your driving style. If you do a lot of hwy driving, then you can probably with more mileage (but not more months). If you rarely drive, then you can probably go with more months
The stop and go traffic are probably the worst for engine life.
